Hi, I’m Amoré. I’m a natural visual storyteller, born and raised in South Africa and currently living in the Isle of Man. If you’re after photography that truly allows your authentic beauty to shine, this is what I was born to do!
My creative journey began with an undergraduate and Masters’ degree (cum laude) in music. However, I’ve always loved taking photos and capturing special moments.
When I moved to this beautiful island in 2017, I therefore decided to explore this passion further.
As a result, I enrolled on award-winning photographer, Shan Fisher’s, photography workshops. These fuelled my creative fire and so the journey began, with Shan remaining my business mentor and friend to this day.
Since then, my passion – along with my own, uniquely classic and timeless style has only grown and my portfolio is now extensive. I have attended numerous photography courses ranging from newborn, family to weddings and my work has been published in local and international magazines.
From babies, families and weddings to corporate shoots with my sister company, LAUNCH! I’ve learnt I adore photography.
It’s intimate and there’s so much to see through the photographer’s lens. I love working with natural light, playing with colour, composition and scenescapes.
However, it’s working with people that brings me the greatest joy; creating the perfect environment that allows your true self (and smile!) to emerge, then working the camera to capture these.
